Difference from vanilla DrySelf and Towels
First, the specs for the vanilla DrySelf and Towels.

Vanilla Towels
  • Towels are a Drainable Item Type.
  • The only things towels are the pink Bath Towel and Dish Cloth.
  • They have a parameter called remaining amount.
  • The remaining amount is consumed during DrySelf.
  • Towels will not start drying until it is completely used up.
  • Once it is used up, it will be converted into a WET_ITEM.
  • Once it is WET, it cannot be used until it is completely dry.
  • It cannot be wring out.
  • Towel is no point in putting it in the dryer.
  • How much can be wiped off with one towel?
  • If you get soaking wet, even five towels might not be enough...

Vanilla Dry Self
  • No action animation.
  • No action sounds.
  • The wiping process is done on a every tick basis (this is affected by game speed so results may be unstable).
  • With each update, body's wetness decreases by 1/20th from of the body wetness.
  • This mean is the more soaking wet you are, the more amount wipes.
  • Conversely, iIf you dry yourself when your body is not yet very wet, you will end up wasting the "remaining" towel.
  • Because, regardless of the amount of wiped wet, the towel remaining amount will be consumed every update time.
  • If the towels remaining amount use up during the process, will be force stop.
  • If you start walking, will be force stop.
  • When you want to dry yourself, you double-click the towel in inventory and nothing happens.

Next, the specs for this mod DrySelf and Towels.

BTO Towels
  • Towels are a Clothing Item Type.
  • Towel variations include bath towels and dishcloths, as well as hand towels and dust cloths.
  • The bath towels come in three qualities: Normal, Luxury, and Rough.
  • The bath towels and hand towels come in 34 different colors.
  • That means there are a total of 138 different towel items? What a surprise!
  • Each towel has different absorbency.
  • Towels can be used even when they are slightly wet.
  • Towels will start to dry at any time.
  • Towels can be wrung out.
  • Towels can be washed.
  • Towels can be dried in a dryer.
  • Towels can, of course, be used for cleaning.
  • If dry your self wipe a dirty body with a towel, dirt and blood will get on it.

BTO Dry Self
  • This has 5 exclusive action animations.
  • The action time and animations change depending on the player's wetness. (The border changes at wetness level 2 (wetness 40))
  • Can be dry yourself while walking.
  • It can absorb all the wetness in one wiping action (as long as the towel not soaked enough).
  • Depending on the absorbency of the towel, it can reduce wetness by up to 50%.
  • This means that the amount of wetness that adheres to the towel is 50% less than the amount that is wiped off from the body.
  • Conversely, towels with low absorbency will get an increased wetness.
  • If your body is dirty, the dirt and blood will get onto the towel.
  • Up to 20% of dirt or blood can be transferred with one wipe (this depends on how amount wetness is wiped).
  • If the towel is too dirty (over 50%), dirt and blood from the towel will get onto your body.
  • Up to 20% of dirt and blood can be adhered from your body with one wipe (this depends on how dirty of towel).
  • In this case, the dirt on the towel will spread and the towel will become dirty as well.
  • Wiping yourself with a clean, dry towel decreases your unhappiness (-2).
  • Wiping yourself with a too dirty or too bloody towel increases your unhappiness (+1).
  • When dry yourself, sometimes the condition of towels deteriorates.(-1)
  • The probability is 5% of the amount of wetness wiped off.
  • Of course, broken towels cannot be used, so you'll want to stock up on them just in case.
  • If Dryself is available, simply double-click a towel in your inventory to get started.

This may be a little confusing, but what you actually do remains the same.
Dry Self is all about drying yourself, so dirt and blood is just a side effect.

I think it is definitely easier to use than vanilla Dry Self.
