FAQ
- It's not working.
If it doesn't show up ingame make sure steam actually downloads the files after you subscribe, try restarting steam. If the body doesn't work after enabling it ingame, restart your game. If these fixes don't work post in the comments or the pinned bug report thread and i'll try to help.

- How do I change the load order
In B42 the button is at the bottom right by the Accept button. In B41 you'll need a mod like Mod Manager and the same function will be there.

- It crashes when I aim.
Verify that this happens when loaded alone with no other mods, otherwise it has to be some sort of mod conflict as I have not experienced this. Please post a list of mods you're using into the pinned bug report thread.

- Can I use this in existing saves?
Yes! Just be sure that it's loaded on the main menu mods page as well as in the save file. And always make backups, just in case!

- How do I get X,Y,Z look from the mod screenshots?
All of the looks showcased in the ingame screenshots are attainable combinations when using Spongie's character customisation and combinations of the clothes from the mods list in the description. There are too many combinations for me to remember them all. The other screenshots that are custom made feature clothing pieces that will be released in an upcoming clothing mod.

- Are Spongie's extra vanilla faces compatible with this?
Yes, the new body textures and faces are designed to be seamless with those but there will be a white seam on the neck. This is due to a texture size mismatch and is unavoidable.

- What is the difference between this mod and Detailed Player Model [Redux] B42?
Redux was the precursor to this mod, a port of a B41 mod with some tweaks to my taste. This one is a new model built from scratch, includes a Male body, functionality for Spongie's Customiser, compatibility patches, etc. It's Redux 2.0.

- "How do I get muscles?"
Your character requires strength. The breakpoint for mid level muscles showing is 6, strong is 9.

- "I want the custom heads but not the muscle textures"
Settings for muscles on/off are customisable in Spongie's Customisation sandbox settings.

- Are other custom body textures compatible with this?
Yes, but they may not apply to the face exactly as expected as the head shape is different to vanilla. The muscle textures are also likely to have seams/overwrite other textures. If you just want a different face (say, Mystic's, or Spongie's) your best bet is to use a mod that's compatible with the customiser such as this and do it that way, preserving the body.

- Can I run these textures with the vanilla body / other modded bodies.
Yes, but I can't guarantee that these face textures will apply as well to other models. They are authored to fit this face.

- The base body textures (non muscular) have the normal underwear / wrong colour etc.
This issue is caused by another mod that is also changing the base body texture which is lower in the load order, either another body or body texture mod. Note that some mods, like "Every Texture Optimized" may also touch the player body textures even though it's not obvious that they do. Placing Tomb's player body mods lower in the load order will let them take priority.

- Can I customise the character's looks without using Spongie's Customiser mod?
Short answer no, long answer yes... but you'd need to put together whatever custom look you want to yourself in photoshop/gimp. All the textures plug together seamlessly, customise the look you want and save out your own texture. If you do this, do not re-distibute the texture without prior consent.

- I only want Male or Female and not both.
Navigate to-
steamapps\workshop\content\108600\[this mod ID]\mods\Tomb's Player Body\42.0\media\models_X\Skinned
or
mods\Tomb's Player Body\media\models_X\Skinned
...and delete the one you don't want.

- When I enter the game the character returns to default and is not how I customised it.
Make sure you aren't running any mods or traits etc that empty the character's inventory when you start the game (eg: More Traits - Deprived). The customisation options are technically classified by the game as clothing and mods that remove all items will also delete them indiscriminately, reverting the character to default.

- The body hair goes crazy with Boots Expanded.
This issue is fixed with the Compatibility patch.

- X, Y, Z Vanilla clothing looks bad next to the new body / is oversized.
As with issues of clipping, this mod changes no clothing meshes so some things are going to look oversized or blocky next to the new model as well. It is perhaps something that can be addressed in time.

- Specific to Linux users on B42: The mod does not appear in the mod list.
According to another user, copying the "media" folder from inside the "42.0" directory and pasting it into the "common" directory in the root of the mod may help.

awesome!, can you make a version that also change zombies textures? (and compatible with the 'bandits' mod?)

Zombie textures are outside the scope of this mod, but it should already be compatible with bandits as it replaces the model file that all humanoids use.
Yeah the transparency issue is on Boots Expanded's end. I have no idea why but it happens if the mask folder used by a clothing item is missing any of the body part textures it's meant to have

Oh so it's just improper mask setup that causes that to happen? I thought they may be actually modifying the alpha threshold somehow.
Yeah I have no idea why a broken mask folder causes it lol I think the mask system is just mega scuffed. The poncho mod was also having the same issue
Does this work in an existing save? pardon me if this has been asked before

It does yeah, i'll copypasta that from the main description here too. Just be sure that it's loaded on the main menu mods page as well as in the save file. And always make backups, just in case!
Will you also be remaking the vanilla clothing to match your body? I hope your body replacer becomes the standard everyone uses :) it looks great and fits the game perfectly imo. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the kind words <3 As of right now i've only done compatibility patches for clothes to fix stuff that was prone to clipping. Remaking all the vanilla clothes to be less lowpoly etc is something i've thought about but it's a big time investment and i'm a bit sort on that at the moment!
Thanks for the quick response and sorry I didn't notice much sooner. Yeah, it would be a lot of work, but I think the game overall needs a bit of a graphics upgrade. Do what makes you happy and don't stress over it :) even small steps add up over time, so it can be done eventually <3
Does this and the Spongie's mods work in MP?
I'm having issues trying to host this in my personal multiplayer world. I have the mods in there and Spngie's mods first but it doesn't seem to load
Tomb  [vývojář] 8. kvě. v 17.41
@Smarty - Should work fine yeah.

@buneat :3 - I've never actually played MP so im not sure of the intricacies of getting a body mod working on multiplayer but the thing tripping you up may just be needing to have it loaded on the main menu so it loads it up when the game boots. In SP if the mod isnt enabled on the main menu it won't load because it only refreshes the body models during the game's initial boot up sequence. Give that a shot.
Is the Hitbox bug still present in b42.7?

Sadly yeah. I contacted the devs and they helped me do a little digging to try and figure out why, but i haven't had a lot of time to dedicate to finding the issue lately. ATRO still works just fine.
