Do you think adding a function to create keys for doors/buildings would be a good idea? I feel like its sorely needed for B42! Perhaps even requiring the key machine?

It is only slightly better than allowing to do lock/unlock without key, on multiplayer is definitely no good, and since beside dealing with NPCs that will be the main purpose of the mod it have priority over SP.

I've heard that MP for B42 will work differently and MIGHT not allow as much client side manipulation as B41, in which case after the release I might add some sandbox option to tweak key spawn, but at the current state allowing unrestricted access is pretty much asking of being raided.

I've never heard of a Key Machine... is it already in the game, it's a mod, or you was suggesting to create one? This might change a bit my decision but right now i have no idea how to add a working machine to the game.
I saw a key machine in the workshop building in muldraugh, it is located at the edge of the forest south-west of the police station. I dont believe it does anything though.

Im desperate for a way to lock everything up in your base because the thieves in the bandits mod are constantly just opening up my front gate and looting my stuff lol

currently i have just been using debug mode to spawn keys for my doors, but i would rather not have to do that.
