new knife and new stats needed
i really want a new knife because the spy essentialy has 3 knifes. several variants of the original. the your eternal reward and the kuni. i know the big earner is in here but it had no use at all! you already get cloak from bacstabs so its just a glitched version of the original.

Pros:
On Backstab: Regenerate 25% of your health
On Miss: Automaticly cloaks user

Cons:
On Cloak: A loud dead-ringer like sound
On Miss: -25 Health

thanks and make sure to comment and remember these will not be the actual stats

ok that is good weapon
i figure a nice consolation prize and penalty weather hit or miss
i would use that
i think when it clocks you there is a sound it would make it more balenced but i would have no problem if it was put in this way
i think thats a great idea, but if it were implemented id like it to replace the paritcal effects.
Isnt this that dragon knife from tr2? if so here is my suggestion

Pros: on hit gain fire immunity for 5 seconds
Con: on miss, get set on fire
i think thats a horrible plan because you wouldent be able to run away on a miss and 5 seconds of fire immunity is to overpowered, but its not my choise so i suppose if valve wants it that way fine by me.

So 2 seconds of fire immunity, and not being able to run away is KIND OF THE POINT. you only get to run away if you get a backstab.

its not instant death, its just an added complication in return for a possible bonus!

Its not going to be to everyones taste, but what weapon is?
true and fair point, but if it could leave out those stats it would be a more used weapon in my opinion.

That's awefully rude. Just because he has other stats that benefit better spies doesn't mean you can call him and his idea dumb and horrible.
Also the spycicle exists as well.

My idea is closer to the TR2 storyline:
Each time the player Backstabs an enemy, Saps a sentry(specifically) or Captures a Point a Meter is Filled
Each Stab fills 1/10 of the meter
Each Sap fills 1/5
Each Point Captured fills meter to 100%
When the meter is full, the player does a 3-sec Taunt in which the Spy stabs himself in the heart granting himself an Ubërcharge and minicrits and to nearby teammates minicrits for 10 secs
After those seconds or a melee hit to the front, the spy dies and the crits are removed
If ya'd want it to be truly caotic, give nearby Pyros normal Crits on their Flamethrowers and make the spy become a team-colored dragon (that either can't attack or does by biting or spitting fire)
Great for spies who want to efectively help their team, combine with Diamondback and erase the "useless spy" stereotype
