Theres a bug when my characters resting and reading that if they have a full bowel or bladder and they have an accident they dont lose the bladder or bowel fullness, just spam accidents till I stand up.
The other thing is a snowball effect that happens for me that seems more annoying than good.
When my character has an accident, they get stress and sadness. tension makes them more prone to accidents. that makes them more tense, then more accidents then more tension and sadness. It does stop when I eventually go to the toilet but theres times when like sleeping that it happens, leaving my character to wake up fully tense, depressed and dirty. other times I might jsut be out scavenging and or sped up time to do something, the audio spam can be painful.
The only suggestion I have is potentially a limiter on how often you can have accidents. Like setting it so no matter how tense your character is they can only have 1 accident ever 30 ingame miniutes, unless their needs are above a threshold, which would work still when diarreah is added.
The other suggestion I might add is possibly adding a settings option to change the volume for the fart and pee sound? So if you wanted you can make it quiter or even turn it off, so you genuinely get suprised when your character had an accident and you havent noticed.
(Plus honestly the farting jumpscares get me every time XD)
Ah yes good report, I'll need to check the bowel/bladder spam when reading.
The snowball effect will be fixed in the next update. I'm planning on removing the add stress+unhappiness when having an accident.
In replace I'll make your character get stressed when wearing soiled clothes. With increased stress gain wearing full dirty clothes. I'll try to balance it so when not being fully filthy the stress gain is much slower so you have enough time to get changed and not get snowballed again.
Maybe using discomfort would make more sense and and not make accident happen more often.
I'll need to brainstorm a bit more.
Ah yes, the sounds. I'll update those to. They are indeed becoming annoying. Especially when you have the incontinence traits.
Thank you for the respondse and Im glad you could do this, It is really getting annoying but it makes me feel better that they will get fixed and changed.
If I may, could I make a suggestion? I dont mind if you take this or leave it just wanted to share my view.
Personally stress gain in this context doesnt make too too much sense to me, nor having accidents from stress.
My suggestion would be considering Removing stress gain and accidents caused by stress and instead considering like you suggested Discomfort but also unhappiness gain from wearing soiled clothing. It could be a simpler and more managable debuff while still being an inconvenience, but not so much that your character cant aim because they pooped themselves.
Tho I would understand a limited stress gain in a future update in Multiplayer if your character is wearing soiled clothing near another player.
The other thing is instead of stress causing accidents Id suggest Panic. Panic is natrually gained from jumpscares or large number of zombies or other things. It represents fear which makes total sense to me for my character to poop themselves when they are terrified and in a life or death situation.
But thats just my personal input, And I dont want you to put them in for my sake or to think I wanna tell you how to do it, this is your mod addon and youre the one working hard on it. Its easy for me to sit here and write a comment telling you how I think you should work hard.
I just hope this helps or inspires something. In any case I love this mod and While I know it might be weird this simple realism addon makes the game so much more fun for me.
Thank you for all your hard work!
