Tips for making sure you don't lose loot
I have a fix in the works that should resolve that and make it impossible for loot to be lost, but in the meanwhile here are some tips for how to make sure you won't lose any loot:

  • Don't run or sprint when pressing E to get on the bike, best is to stand still until you're fully on it, and to stand as close to it as possible.

  • Make sure to check your player inventory menu after getting on, if the basket/saddlebags/crate shows up like equipped backpacks would, then you're all set.

  • If you're on the bike but the basket/saddlebags/crate is accessible from the world loot menu, then it didn't get equipped and it won't follow you when you get off the bike. In that case try hopping off and back on and check again.

I hope that helps save some heartache while I work on the fix!
