After the update the window should take almost all the screen so how can you misclick
My screen resolution is 1366 x 768, my default setting. I tried other resolutions, both smaller and bigger, and the result is the same. The first menu seems to stretch outside the screen; you can move it like a window, though clicking outside of it does nothing.
However, when you're actively in the menu for messing with the bandits, clicking outside the window will cause it to disappear and show only the main menu background, basically softlocking and forcing a restart.
I say misclick because for my end, the menus and dropdowns are all sized oddly or pushing outside the screen; some clicks don't register that I'm clicking on an object in the dropdown, so it'll close the windows and softlock me.
I'll check further to see if it's only on my end, but figured I post it just in case! :)
EDIT: This seems to be the case for all resolutions and settings, both with and without mods.
Click in the wrong spot and the creator UI will move "below"(as in it becomes more transparent with game's title suddenly overlapping it) the main menu and also become totally unresponsive to any inputs requiring a forced shutdown of the game as pointblank98 described.

Edit: got it to work but i am also having the same issue some of the others here are, mainly the softlock issue
i found a very sub par way of at least being able to escape the menu,
and its by:
going in border-less windowed (least that's what works for me in my 1600x900 display),
and in order to leave without soft-locking you'll have to **VERY CAREFULLY** press the clone button, as it doesn't always register right and can soft lock, then one can exit the menu.
I'll try saving with it, and honestly its not a very fun solution having to align your cursor exactly on the button but it can at least prevent some soft locks
I found one possible cause for this: the items menu.
When you go to pick an item for a bandit, and then click out of the menu without hitting the close button, the menu doesn't actually disappear. Instead, it gets buried underneath the Bandit Creator GUI where you can't really see it.
These can stack over time and cause a LOT of lag.
When you close the creator and go back to the main menu without closing the game, you'll see all of the item GUI screens stacked on top of each other.
Looks like everyone is having the same problem. Is everyone here on build 41?
I know duplication is a vanilla issue in Zomboid, but this bug didn't happen for me in Bandits v1.
Tried a mod meant to stop duplication but it doesn't seem to have effected this bug.
I've looked everywhere in the entire folder of Zomboid and I have not found it despite saving it to Local
