List of changes from Bertrand and the Survivors of Bergerac (Sub-mod for Mixer)
Honor and Heroism
Thieves' Honor and Heroism replace Chivalry as a campaign resource/mechanic for Bertrand only. Some of the new units in this mod require high or low Honor/Heroism in order to recruit or upgrade to. Paladins and knight units are now also not recruitable until high Honor is reached.

Honor represents your reputation with Lords of Bretonnia and is gained by battling foes of Bretonnia such as Greenskins and Chaos. It is also gained by the Stables building chain in town, the Cathedral of the Lady building, traits, and dilemma choices. It can be lost by declaring war on Bretonnia, looting, sacking, razing, the new black market building chain, traits, and dilemmas. High Honor unlocks Paladins and Knights, gives a bonus to diplomacy with Bretonnian factions, increases leadership for all armies and access to the Green Knight if you are using the submod. Low Honor gives access to Desperados and Brigand Knaves, a chance to add Dishonored Knights to the renown mercenary pool, bonuses to melee attack and ranged weapon damage, but also a penalty to diplomacy with Bretonnian factions.

Heroism represents your reputation with the peasantry and is gained from sharing loot from battle with the peasants, the Healing building chain, traits, and dilemma choices. It can be lost by declaring war on Bretonnia, razing order faction settlements, the new black market building chain, traits and dilemmas. High Heroism allows Herrimaults to upgrade to Aspirant Hoods, gives bonuses to Herrimaults and Merry men, and gives a chance to add free Peasant Mob units to the renown mercenary pool. Low Heroism unlocks Armoured Brigand Crossbowmen and gives a bonus to raiding, sacking, and looting. It also gives bonuses to basic Brigands, Outlaw Chiefs, and Desperados.

New Units, Heroes, and Lords
Lords
  1. Outlaw Chief - Pistol wielding lord that can build brigand camps. Innate traits are mostly -Honor traits. Has access to a horde version of the smuggler's den to recruit gunnery units.
  2. Outlaw Chief (Halberd) - Wields a halberd and shield and has a few different skills. Has access to the same horde buildings as the pistol wielding Outlaw Chief
Heroes
  1. Desperado - Unlocked when reaching low honor ('Wanted' level). Wields pistol and a sword, or 2 pistols when mounted.
Gunpowder units
- Recruited from the Black Market settlement building chain or horde building chain
  1. Brigand Rapscallions - Low armor Brigand unit wielding pistols and swords. Similar to Free Company Militia.
  2. Armored Brigand Rapscallions - Same as regular Rapscallions with more armor, defense, leader, but slightly lower speed
  3. Brigand Knaves - Elite versions of Rapscallions. They have higher stats including higher AP ranged weapons. Requires low Honor to build or upgrade to.
  4. Brigand Blunderbusses - Armored Brigands wielding blunderbusses.
Other Units
  1. Dishonored Knights - Foot knights that wield maces. Have high armor, leadership, and HP like knights, but a lower unit count (100 instead of 120). Added to renown mercenary pool from fighting battles against Bretonnia knights while at low honor ('Wanted' level) or has a chance at the beginning of the turn at very lower Honor ('Infamous' level)
  2. Armoured Brigand Crossbowmen - Armored and shielded version of Brigand Crossbows. Have a silver shield level shield, making them trade very well with other ranged units. Requires low Heroism ('Enterprising') to recruit or upgrade to.

  4. Brigand Plunderers - Mid tier cavalry unit. Upgraded version of Brigand Raiders

New Items
- Blessed Bowstring of Bergerac - Requires a quest to acquire. Gives Bertrand an magical, explosive, seeking ranged attack.
- Various other items have been added to the pool that can be randomly generated by missions or found after battles.

New/Modified Buildings
- Black Market chain is available to Bertrand's faction only in towns, and to Outlaw Chief hordes. It gives bonus income, access to gunnery units, is required to recruit Desperado (also requires low Honor), and gives penalties to Heroism, Honor, and control.
- Patrols horde chain - Reduces corruption, reduced plague duration, increases defense while defending, and gives increased Ambush defense chance. The Crownless Lord version also gives missile resistance for Herrimaults and Merry Men.
- Healers Tent horde building - Only available to Crownless Lords and Bertrand, gives bonus HP% to army, +replenishment rate
- Bonuses to Chivalry from buildings such as Cathedral of the Lady or Couronne Tournament Grounds are replaced with +Honor for Bertrand's faction only

Missions, Quests, and Dillemas
- Quests with quest battles have been added for Bertrand and Gui's Legendary items.
- Gotrek and Felix recruitment quest also added.
- One quest battle is triggered by having a very high Honor value. A different reward is available for having a very low Honor value. I will leave you to discover what the quest and reward entail by playing the campaign.

Randomly triggering dilemmas have a chance to trigger each turn that can give bonuses/penalties to Honor/Heroism, items, Heroes, or add units to the renown mercenary pool that would be otherwise locked.

Personal Traits and Unlockable Traits
All the heroes and lords including Bretonnian Lords, Prophetesses, Paladins, Damsels and mod specific characters have new Personal Traits that give Honor and Heroism bonuses or penalties.

Once extreme values (10000 or 0) in both Honor or Heroism is reached, Bertrand will gain a trait. For instance he will gain "Spymaster of Bretonnia" from high Honor, low Heroism that give all of his heroes increased agent success chance, all of his armies increased chance to ambush, and all hordes an increased chance to avoid detection while camped.

A couple other new traits can be gain from dilemmas and quests.

Modified Tech Tree
Herrimault's Code technologies have added bonuses to Honor or Heroism gains, and other bonuses that are specific to modded units. A few of the skills in the right side of the tech tree that added or required Chivalry have been changed to ones that are more Brigand themed.

Added/Changed Skill Trees
- Bertrand's skills have been updated to interact with Honor and Heroism, and his unique skills have been re-balanced
- Added new more interesting effects to Gui's 'tasting' unique skills (Woody, Full Bodied, Tolerance, Balanced)
- Faceless and Friars have had their skill trees expanded to included specializations that are unlocked at higher levels.

Misc.
- Bertrand faction starts with an army limit of 2 instead of unlimited. The army limit can be increased by Bertrand's skill "The Brigand", building the main horde building for Outlaw Chiefs and Crownless Lords, an automatically gained skill from leveling up Prophetesses, or by paying gold to unlock the extra army technologies.
- Various other stat tweaks, icon changes, character model and animation changes
