HOW TO ADD A MAP TO A EXISTING SAVE
1. You need to start a new game (save) with all mods you have now + with new maps you wish to have - lets call it IDEALMAP
2. Once it loads, exit game, you are done here
3. Go to your save folder (i think for most is C:\Users\USER\Zomboid\Saves\)
(your save is within one of the folder, i always play Sandbox so it is Sandbox for me)
4. BACKUP YOUR SAVE FOLDER - kinda usefull you know.
--------- Now the fun part ----------
5. Copy and overwrite file "map_ver.bin" from that IDEALMAP folder to your save

IF you DIDN'T visit that part of map you are adding YOU ARE DONE, GOOD, FINISHED -> GO PLAY

IF you ALREADY visited that part of map use the B42ChunkCleaner[buchojefe.github.io] and delete the zones where the NEW map or maps should be.
Warning: That part of map will be removed, cleansed, wiped out, nothing, nada.

Concentrate in step 2, after creating a new game with exactly the same mods of your main game + (PLUS) the map/s mod/s and start it and then leave it, a map_ver.bin will be created on that folder, then copy that map_ver.bin to your main saved game.

One issue I'm having currently is once this is done I get a lot of error reports when trying to use the map, and then once I get the map to actually open(which it doesn't at first) it reveals the entire map and not just the locations I've been to already. On top of that, it only displayed West Point Expansion properly on that "new" map, and Raven Point and others either didn't show up at all or appeared somewhat brokenly on the map.
It was happening on fresh saves also, so I decided to go map by map until I found the issue, and I figured it out! One of the mods, B42 Bunker Prep something or other, hadn't been updated since February. Went through each one until it worked right and it was that one that caused it. I'm about to go through the process now and fingers crossed all the others load correctly now in my main file(backed it up also)

That's good you caught the error! Indeed, there are maps that produce errors and haven't been fixed. I know that none of the 10 maps I published collectively generate errors. Please be patient, because while I know whether my conversions might cause errors or not, other creators don't yet have official tools or standardization from TIS. To help, if you're certain that a mod individually generates errors, the best thing to do is pass the log details to the author or the person in charge of maintaining it. Thanks for the details
I'll try recreating it this week and passing that info on to them, good call
