Love what you have made, well done.

Suggestion: Alternate ending; refuse to ascend as the Behemoth and continue as your empire and drop the Behemoth Transference modifier organically.

Thanks for the kind words! Great to see my ideas being appreciated =)

For the suggestion, it gets a bit unwieldy to keep layering more options onto the event since there are already 4 (and I think it'd be a little bit of a flavor fail given the interpretation of the victory in the events, where your pops basically all go brain-dead).

It would be easy to remove Behemoth Transference once the win conditions are met though, allowing players who want to keep playing as their empire to do so by simply not completing the Ascension special project.
Just what we needed, thank you. Also love the Feeding Trough model, it's like a big dinner plate.

Haha, thanks! The concept for the whole thing was indeed just 'planetary-scale dinner plate', and I certainly had fun writing up appropriate descriptions.
Hello! Love the mod and all, love the features added, the tweaks, everything. I just have a single suggestion to give: Will you be able to add some sort of decision where the Behemoth can eat all the planets? It feels a bit underwhelming that you have a giant eater of worlds but it can only eat worlds with grass on it.
Example, imagine you get handed a plate full of rocks, surely you wouldn't eat that, but now there's spices and grass on it, now your mind changes and you want to eat it.
So yeah, if you can add the feature of eating other things than just colonizable worlds, it would be nice. Thanks!

Hey! I think it'd be flavorful to be able to just eat any old world, but I do worry about the balance - it would make it super trivial to both get Growth Factor and Feral Insight, since non-colonizable worlds are a dime a dozen.
What about a perk at the last tier of the crisis path since Feral Insight is useless at the last tier? Perhaps also a mutation during the Growing Pains situation? I haven't exactly looked much at the Growing Pains but it seems to mutate the Stage IV Behemoth during the situation.

I'm still thinking about this one, and I'll admit that I'm still on the fence. I like it from a flavor point of view, but there's something I can't quite place that still doesn't feel right. Perhaps it's the resource gains from eating planets. Perhaps it's that it feels a bit contrived to open that only later in the situation (shortly before victory) due to the aforementioned balance issues.
Ah, I see. I'll let you think about it then. But thanks anyways!

It would be nice if you made it so that Galactic Community declares war at you after compliting Mind Meld. The fact that the game hurts your diplomacy is enought IMO. I mean, yes, you're experimenting with biology, so here's -1000 to opinon, but instant war? If cosmogenesis doesn't do it why should it?

That one's certainly very controversial. I know a lot of people who like Cosmogenesis for that reason, and quite a few more who don't for the exact same reason.

For this mod, at least, I mostly just wanted to rebalance the economic effects of the crisis and emphasize going around eating things with the Behemoth, rather than dramatically change how it interacts with the galaxy. But perhaps that'll be something to look at more as a setting or something of the sort in the future.

Evereal and I are working on another Behemoth mod that will be more transformative, and that could be something to think about (although development of that is on hiatus for the duration of the Modjam, since we are participating!)

Strictly speaking you could just make a copy of this mod without instant war and that probably would be enought
