This is due to Automation mod. The author of that mod will have to fix this or else it will crash with any modded weather.
is this if there is a script somewhere in the world that relies on season change? if so could i just delete that script?

Sorry I am not sure about that. I don't use that mod. But likely the author of that mod had that event subscribed and check for weather to find out what scripts need it anyway.
