Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

Shokuho
Gunner Calvary is so OP
If you combine the Gunner Calvary with any spear Calvary you become unstoppable and btw their is no point of using the melee units at all since the Gunner Calvary is so op you can literally just feign retreat on range and melee plus with any spear Calvary

Use gun infantry, and the gun cavalry dies very quickly. Sakai clan marksmen are insanely good. You can also get the hokuriku gun monks which cost almost nothing in upkeep. If you have the money, make an army out of nothing but Tokai Hatamoto Teppo and you have ridiculously good ranged AND melee at the same time. Cavalry effectiveness actually goes down the larger the battle in my experience, I was having trouble killing cavalry until I was able to actually fully deploy all my ranged infantry, then their entire cav line got taken out in one volley.

I managed to use both gun infantry and Gunner Calvary to wipe out their Calvary first and use the Gunner Calvary to use feign retreat on them plus the Calvary with spears to round up the stranglers

I'm trying this out myself, but which are the best gunner cavalry and gunner infantry?
Sakai Pistol Cavalry and Sakai Samurai Marksmen respectively.
