If you have the game on very high settings you should lower them to high. Thats what helped me

i have the same issue here ..... very long loading times for the shader cache .... upon loading the game it takes a very long time to load all the shaders, after that its quite quick but the initial wait is ridiculous
every time loading into a battle is horrendously long, it makes me think about playing warband gekokujo instead because that game just works.

i have an ssd, all settings on medium. 5+ minutes every battle load time.

I had the same issue. I fixed it by using the "Compile Shaders" in the main menu every time I boot up the game. Now it loads way faster

Genuinely glad it isn’t just me, tried it for the first time last night, first time it crashed when I tried to enter an arena, then it just took over 5-10 mins to load anything. Frustrating as it looks so good.

Do the shaders compilation, only way to stop long loading in total conversion mods, I'm pretty sure they recommend this too.

Every time i've tried to compile shaders in the menu with a fresh install, i wait around for 30 minutes and nothing. Any idea of what to do?

Simply wait. Took 10m for me on a 4080super and a beefy CPU. I imagine on systems with lower specs it can take even longer. The Warhammer total conversion mod also has a compiling shaders part and the authors for that said it took some of their users up to a hour.
Preload the shaders in the main menu, let it do its thing and the rest of your sessions should load much quicker.
