Tiger Ace discussion
In latest patch of this mod I noticed Tiger Ace can only be built once per game now, even after it has been destroyed in a match like the vanilla game? I know from prevous versions you could have one at time but not anymore and I guess it was not intended to work this way as v.coh2 so this needs to be fixed or else it should at least be taken away the cut down resource income/min. penalties once when Tiger Ace enter the scene. There also seems to be bug(s) with prioritize vehicles button/function on some of the emplacements, even with some units but not sure because most of the time it works perfectly. I'll look closer into this. So don't bother to much of the last thing I wrote. "Firsthanded", --Tiger Ace's should be fixed.

I'm not sure what you mean. I haven't changed the Tiger Ace for over a year. It is exactly the same as in vanilla and it has always been this way: only one can be built per game and the resource cut because it only costs mp.

It would be great if you can provide a list of all units/emplacements with the prioritize vehicles bug. Then I can fix them all.

Maybe I mixed it up with something else that Tiger Ace was built one at time, and this mod differed it from the v.coh2. Anyway, personally I think it's to much of penalties(only once per game & resource cuts + 28popcap) consider there are many more options to counter Tiger Ace's with ease in here.. Yes!, the strong side of bringing in Tiger Ace are it's cost of 800manpower and no fuel at all and of caurse the fire power you'll get,. but it can't be everywhere at same time on the battlefield.. That's my oppinion thou.. It can be changed for personal use only 'n' nothing more, --case closed..

I'll think about the tiger Ace, maybe add a little fuel costs everytime one dies (+50?) and make it buildable again :steamhappy: That would still encourage players to be careful with the unit.

That sounds like a good idea!^^ 28 in popcap was wrong, correct p.c. was 26,. still much but I think it's right to have that because of it strong sides. Most important thing are balance and fun-factor. Tiger Ace's i'm always careful with 'n' how valuable it is if used right,. --it has only been destroyed once and I guess that was the main issue that made me think it was re-buildable in this mod & I will add that it says: "-you can only field 1 at a time!" if you check this out?
I've also tested to use the transfer order ability on it, which count as same as a destroyed one that means you cannot build this unit again, just so 'U' know ;)

.. An alternative suggestion can also be to make some sort of a cooldown-function once the Tiger Ace has been destroyed so it's not available right away! This is to prevent frustation of players that manage to take it down under critical situations so they have a chance turn over the crisis in favor of good strategy. Often on the offensive side you control most of the map & has a huge resource income, even when a Tiger Ace is active on scene you'll get 50 in fuel relatively fast and manpower "burns" out most in defensive state of battles under pressure and spending time on building right choice of units 'n' before they've arrived to counter your opponent. If you'll go for the fuel cost I'll suggest 75-100 to encourage safe & effective style of using the unit.

My question about the Ace, in team games if your team mate builds one does the teams income get effected? As I know allies share the income from points held.

No, Tiger Ace only effect the team that trained it lucky enough,. as this unit has already to much penalty as it is. It's not that good, consider there are plenty of great strategy to take it out fast..
