USF Half-Track access, and logistic issue.
Now that the M5 Half-Track is gone, USF has no more quick way of dispatching a Half-Track (with the tactical support company),
it can be done with the mecanised group (E8+m3+Cav) but it come late and is more focused on a combat group.

It force to play the upgraded lieutnant so not very cost effective for a captain only run,

Maybe replacing the m16 callout with a m3 half-track would be solution (since AA half-track are available with both officer), or replacing the mortar half track of the mecanised commander by the m3, since a mobile indirect fire option is available both side too.

Usf good logistic is not well represented is the game (reinforce/heal/rally point), "cheap" reinforcement come only with the ambulance (easy to destroy compared to field camp/bunker/foward assemblies, and not that mobile) wich is not a good front line option.

No heal crate drop, medic sometime stand next to a wounded and do nothing, the major rally point come late IF we need to research both officer before him and NO POP FREE option for rein/heal (attached medic/medic/ambulance)/rally point(major, or officer break retreat ability, wich is great but situational)

So from my point of view, the half track is a very important option, especially for the Usf mobile fight style.
USF is great to play thx to easy access of multiple infantry ability, smoke (m8 is the best support vehicle), good synergy between armor and troops,
But when it come to maintaining your army in good shape and moving onward, i British or Soviet feel somewhat more able to do so.

I have no suggestion for the logistic issue aside of the half-track access. (but i would love if Relic add a GMC truck with unique ability like opel/zis truc, or if they rework a little the abulance in a way of helping it to better follow the progression of the frontline without being so vulnerable).

Thanks for your detailed feedback. I understand that the M5 was a very strong reinforce unit, but it was the 3rd of its kind in the US army. The goal of nonlinear tech is to make choices. Not every tier should have all options. The Ambulance is a great alternative. Yes it has low health, but it is cheap, mobile, available from the start and can heal. The captain tier has the strongest infantry, it should have a little downside.
