Recoil Prevention?
Does anyone know of a good way to prevent the massive recoil that the small ship battlecannons deal out? The RaK is fine, but I'd like a way to prevent the recoil on the small ship types. Gyros maybe, or artificial mass?

Not artificial mass, *actual* mass. And most important of all is your center of mass - if the cannons are centered on your ship's mass, they won't spin it or force it to kick up/down/left/right in a major way.

If you're pulling the trigger and losing control, that's not an efficient design. I know that's not very helpful to say, but it's the jist of it.

That was in fact helpful :)
Thank you.

you could anchor yourself so to speak by building in extra mass before a fire maybe using a timer block to initiate the firing sequence including anchoring. what i mean by anchoring is you could have it turn on a quite significant amount of artificial mass before shooting or you could lock your rotors, if you wanted with timer blocks you could even have it anchor your ship fire then un-anchor your ship for single shots
