Downloaded Localization paks, and added to folder just as instructed, then subscribed, Crafting menu wouldn't open after I finally got a cooking kit. Went back onto nexus and downloaded the main files too just in case I was supposed to do that. Got back into game and finally got crafting menu to open, and tried to cook up some flesh bacon at a campfire in Zalissya. Crafting took my ingredients, but didn't give me any cooked bacon.

Feeling very disheartened, cause this mod is like one of the BIG things I want in the game, and I started a whole new game to test this out, giving up maybe 3 hours of progress. Really hoping its just user error on my end. Am willing to copy/Paste modlist here to look for conflicts, but I'm almost entirely sure they're are none.

((Just reposting here, Even after tasking flashlight mod out, still cant craft my bacon :steamsad:))

Have you tried other craftings? You could test with another food item. I’ll give this a check on my end!
Found a bug. Cooked meats do not appear in the inventory

Thanks for the report. Did you try with other crafts that aren't food?

Unfortunately I have not been able to test beyond food, despite finding a good chunk of materials, I couldn't find any any tool kits/multitools/pliers/screwdrivers/ etc.

Again I really love the idea of the mod, so I could try to keep testing it on a Separate File and keep updating you. I did wanna point out that seeing a guitar fly out of a small ammo box kinda ruined immersion for me, funny as heck, but not immersive. Maybe add certain items only to stashes if possible?

Will probs remove big items from those crates completly :)

Can confirm, Cooking any type of meat do not seem to give the cooked item, either the variant with just meat or the one with salt/pepper and alcohol. Only seems to be applying to the food items though as disassembling any other crafting item the item appears in inventory. Haven't tested crafting any items as I lack the main tool kit will confirm that once I get one. Also are food and medical crates supposed their respective crafting items as they seem to give a bunch of random items like grenades as I opened one and got a whopping 8 under barrel grenade launcher rounds at the start of the game-ish from a single food crate. Also a medical crate giving me around 15 armor piercing rounds, not the crafting item the actual ammo.

. doesnt seem to open the menu, i dont have any other mods that i think could conflict with this nor do any of them mention BP_Stalker2Character, the loot mod however seems to work flawlessly

I'll give a check. Cooking may have been broken by a change I made so that things could be disassembled. Shouldn't be a hard fix. And yes, crates give you random things in general, not necessarily food or medicine even if they say it. It was a choice I made because I like it that way, but if people don't like it I am willing to gather feedback on it and see if I change it. I'll be reducing the drop rate of items though. Thanks for your report!

It seems some Steam users can't get it to work. You could try getting the Nexus version and see if it works. You don't need a mod loader, so no problem on that. If you still can't open it, then one of your mods is conflicting most likely.

Not to potentially beat a dead horse here, but do you have any flashlight mods? Those alter the character file. Tested on several different saves with different flashlight mods, Till I saw the one uploaded by Ace, who did state that flashlight mods alter the BP_Stalker2Character file.

I think it would make more sense for medical crates to really only drop medical items, maybe food since another stalker in the zone might have used the crate as a personal storage for them (lore reason not a mechanic reason)

But I agree with some of the community, its a little out of character for a medical crate to drop grenades or gun attachments. (I got the g36 shotgun attachment when I popped one open)
Might be better to keep crate drops specific to certain items. Food Crates having food and cooking materials, Medical having drugs and healing materials, and the ammo having ammo and bullet casings etc. As for armor materials and random things like that... maybe have npc's carry them? and just add more of them to personal stashes? That one would confuse me a bit for where to place them.

Thank you for your feedback, definetly taking it into account for the coming patch.
