Feeling very disheartened, cause this mod is like one of the BIG things I want in the game, and I started a whole new game to test this out, giving up maybe 3 hours of progress. Really hoping its just user error on my end. Am willing to copy/Paste modlist here to look for conflicts, but I'm almost entirely sure they're are none.
((Just reposting here, Even after tasking flashlight mod out, still cant craft my bacon
Unfortunately I have not been able to test beyond food, despite finding a good chunk of materials, I couldn't find any any tool kits/multitools/pliers/screwdrivers/ etc.
Again I really love the idea of the mod, so I could try to keep testing it on a Separate File and keep updating you. I did wanna point out that seeing a guitar fly out of a small ammo box kinda ruined immersion for me, funny as heck, but not immersive. Maybe add certain items only to stashes if possible?
Not to potentially beat a dead horse here, but do you have any flashlight mods? Those alter the character file. Tested on several different saves with different flashlight mods, Till I saw the one uploaded by Ace, who did state that flashlight mods alter the BP_Stalker2Character file.
I think it would make more sense for medical crates to really only drop medical items, maybe food since another stalker in the zone might have used the crate as a personal storage for them (lore reason not a mechanic reason)
But I agree with some of the community, its a little out of character for a medical crate to drop grenades or gun attachments. (I got the g36 shotgun attachment when I popped one open)
Might be better to keep crate drops specific to certain items. Food Crates having food and cooking materials, Medical having drugs and healing materials, and the ammo having ammo and bullet casings etc. As for armor materials and random things like that... maybe have npc's carry them? and just add more of them to personal stashes? That one would confuse me a bit for where to place them.
I have a big bug the full stop button to bring up crafting menu is not working for me also a lot of the crafting items are in the inventory but not showing.
