Team Fortress 2

Heavy Caliber
My idea for the Heavy Revolver
The Heavy Caliber
Level X Hand Cannon
Note this is as the name implies, a Hand Cannon. Meaning it shoots high caliber bullets not shotgun shells. The number of bullets in the magazine is six, 6, and it has the same number of the reserve ammo as the stock. This is what the Huntsman is to the Sniper and the Ambassador to the Spy, mechanic wise.
Pros:
Uses the Revolver stats.
has a HP on kill mechanic of +50 HP on kill(given the user(Heavy weapons guy), that is a fair amount of HP. I think that is the small med pack equivalent for teh heavy). Works like the Powerjack, which has an mechanic which gives the user a health pack that can overheal them.
+x% weapon switch speed.
Can be fired and still deal damage at medium and long range without damage drop off. Meaning it is quite accurate.
This is more of an precise weapon, that you can use for picking off those pesky snipers and so on.
Cons:
Is not very good for crowd control.
20% amount of slower firing speed.
Reload magazine one bullet at a time.

Hm, there might be some other pros and cons, but I cannot think of any at the moment.

Good bad OP UP?

Maybe a Powerjack like mechanic or a Blutsauger one would be good for this? The HP gain. Ideas? Edit: upon further thinking a Powerjack like mechanic would work for this rather well. Now how many health would you get for killing someone? Would somewhere in range of 40 to 70 work, as a HP gain? Not from to, but a number picked from that, would that work?

EVen more ideas.

On kill you get a small health pack, 35 max.

My idea for the Revolver mechanics is still in effect. Meaning Primary fire and fanning the hammer.

What does that mean for the Health packs? Is it a Candy CAne deal?

No, not entirely. The Mouse 3 button is for throwing the Health packs. And yes can be picked up by either the friendly or enemy players.

Another idea.

on hit cause bleed and maybe even when minicrits on bleeding targets.

Another better idea that compliemnts the Authors idea about having minicrits when the medic dies.

Instead, minicrit when youa re overhealed, no random crits, and 25HP on kill for 50HP overheal max. Adn of course Slug rounds that are basically Stock revovler stats.
