Help getting Mod to work
Calcul8adora I tried your suggestions by trying the usual way and deleting the cache, but I still haven't had any success. Can you please help?
I can tell you that the mods are showing up and appear to reload fine. However, when I begin a game St. Nick doesn't appear as a leader option and the North pole doesn't appear as a map option. Whenever I load the game it appears to only use its core maps and components.
Please help

Another option is to use the direct download site listed in the description. Then use 7zip or another unzip program to extract the downloaded file. When you extract the file, put the contents in its own folder in the Documents > My Games > Sid Meier's Civ V > MODS folder.

@calcull8or: Tried that too. No luck. I think the file is there and everything, but I thought that we could use Santa as one of the leaders. When I go to single player I am not permitted to select Santa. Also, in the civilopedia I see the elf workshop, but I don't get a picture like you did. This is frustrating :(

Are you getting other mods to work? Are you using other mods? There could be a conflict.

How can i apply it to play via internet with friends in multiplayer? Works only in single mod

I'm also having the same problem as hansbe07 and have tried installing the mod both ways. Any help would be great.

@calcul8or: Yes, I have tried other mods from other games and those mods have worked. I haven't tried any other Civ 5 mods though.

I don't even see the MODS button in the startupscreen. Does this work for Mac anyway??

Others - First, make sure you are following the screenshots all the way through to create a modded game, and not hitting "back" to the main menu. Second, browse to your Documents>Sid Meier's Civ V > MODS and make sure there is a folder for "The North Pole", and that there are subfolders and files inside the folder. If not, go back to the item description and download/extract again.

Thank you calcul8or for your help again, but I just want to know if this mod allows you to be Santa or do you have to be a different civlization?

The mod allows you to be Santa - enjoy!

@calcul8or- Then how do you choose Santa as a leader? He is still not showing up as an option.

@calcul8or- I just wanted to let you know I finally got your mod to work thank you! I wasn''t aware that you needed to have the Brave New World Expansion Pack. Maybe if others have this trouble tell them that too. Awesome mod!
