dragonborn ring disappeard
i cant find the ring at the desk and when i try again with a newsave its still not there, any help

Okay, no problem, follow these steps and you should be good :)

1) While in-game, press the ~ button to open the console
2) Type the following in this console: help "Ring of the Dragonborn"
3) It will return a bunch of stuff, but the important line is:

ARMO: (-the rings objectID) "Ring of the Dragonborn"

4) Type the following in the console: player.additem <objectID from step 3> 1

Are you aware that, when you get a lot of lines of data back, you can use "pg-up" and "pg-dn" keys to scroll through all the lines returned? It took me a long time to find this out.

I did not even know that lol. Thank you for posting that in case others suffer from the same issue, they can find the ring a lot quicker in the list :)
