1) While in-game, press the ~ button to open the console
2) Type the following in this console: help "Ring of the Dragonborn"
3) It will return a bunch of stuff, but the important line is:
ARMO: (-the rings objectID) "Ring of the Dragonborn"
4) Type the following in the console: player.additem <objectID from step 3> 1
So when you type step 2, what appears in the console?
I did not even know that lol. Thank you for posting that in case others suffer from the same issue, they can find the ring a lot quicker in the list :)
