Optional Engaging Rules
I come from a Flames-of-War tabletop gaming background. When I made TTT I tried to create a new penetration system relying on penetration dice rolls. I have played TTT many times using my rules and find the current Engage rule, while fun, not all it could be.

I am adding this Optional rule for players that want a similar penetration experience to FoW that is less analytic than theirs but still keeps the game fun, funny, and keeps luck involved.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To use this optional Engage rule you delete all the current red penetration dice and add a single Red and White (or any color you like) d6 from the Host/chest.

Accuracy is not changed. You still use the White accuracy dice.
If a HIT is made then BOTH players roll their D6, Red for Attacker and White for Defender.
The Attacker adds their result to the Penetration value for their tank listed on its Information card. The Defender adds their roll value to the Armor rating for the location determine to be hit that is listed on the hit tanks Information card.

If the total sum of the Attack is higher than the total sum of the Defend then the tank suffers a Penetration and must draw a Pen card. If the total sum of the Defend is higher than the total sum of the Attack then the shot has failed to Penetrate.

Yes, a Grizzled crew can use their once a turn re-roll on this roll!
