if that was the case, i would say that it should be a new model that comes with a new wrench, like the gunslinger

How 'bout this: New Sentry = having to make a new Destruction and Building PDAs but that sorta means a new dispencer and teleporters so yeah Valve would have to do a lot of work for this to become a sentry

Not required, the gunslinger uses same PDA, just use the mechanic of a level 2 sentry, add 50 more HP and 10-20% more damage.

Hmm, good point, Maybe using this, you cant place dispencers, it takes 200 metal and 100% faster build time? Cant be picket up too?

How about:
- Can't Get Metal From Dispensers
- 200 Metal
-Can't Be Picked Up
+100% Faster Build Time
+50% Damage resistance

Ok then cool i thought it would need a new one because they technically would need to recode it to spawn that sentry

I thought when i first looked at the photo i thought it was a turret and then i noticed it was a mini gun i would like it as a turret too would be epic to have different turrets

it could stick to walls and go sideways, but it takes 200 metal to build and the wrench wouldnt do any damage.

I think this should be a different type of PDA that can produce a whole set of new machinery. Im thinking instead of a dispencer mabye a force field that can protect other engineers, Not teliporters but speed boot dispencer and portable shield dispencer ( replaces secondary for duration of time), and this slow firing semi bulletproof sentry
