[Obsolete] Natural Gravity - make asteroids have ship-pulling gravity

Align Station grid
would it be possible to have something to auto-align station grid with gravity? So that the up of the asteroid would be the same as the station being created?

Well, I did some testing and I was able to make it quite quickly, didn't grind-test it though so there might be issues but I've added a safety that will hopefully not crash the game if any errors occur.

The way it works, you first need to use /ng align station to toggle the feature for yourself (client-only setting, not saved either, so you'll need to use the command each time you reload or rejoin... if you forget it, just type /ng and it's listed there).
Next just place a new station in a gravity field, it will be rotated after you place it as I can't rotate the ghost itself.

Try it out and let me know if you find any issues :P

Thanks a lot,

Unfortunately I did some testing and there is what I found out,
only visual is affected, strangely neither collision nor "Grid" is changed

Ah wth, I wasn't subscribed to the thread so I didn't see this reply :|

Were you hosting the game by the way ?

It was during single player play.

so do you know if pressing the 'B' to allow stations block rotation will help with this alignment issue?

You probably are able to perfectly align your grid 0.001° with the gravity vector at a specific place on an asteroid but I sure don't.
