[Obsolete] Natural Gravity - make asteroids have ship-pulling gravity
Idea: Diminishing Gravity Using Multiple Generators
With spherical gravity generators, if you put a few next to each other they will add to each other's strength. This allows you to configure them so that you can have generators with greater than 1g, or you can set them to different distances to achieve seudo deminishing gravity. For example: generator A can be set to 400m @ 0.6g, and generator B set to 300m @ 0.4g. When you're greater than 300m away from the generator you will only experience 0.6g, but when you're 300m or closer you'll experience 1g. It's also possible to nullify gravity in the same way by using negative values for g.

Would it be possible to add similar functionality to Natural Gravity? It could also solve the hollow asteroid problem (for spherical asteroids).

The problem is the inaccurate gravity stepping, it can cause issues with orbiting.

And I don't see how it would help any hollow asteroid, you will still be pulled towards its center.

The only reason I'm using gravity generators is to allow the player to walk.

Regardless, as Keen already said in their blog, they're already working on planets, so this mod is not really worth more development :P
