Future Directions
So since I sadly don't have enough time to work on this as much as I'd like, I thought just for now I'd lay out my current thoughts on future direction for this civ, and solicit any feedback.

Things I know I'm going to add:
Custom Covert Ops (for all factions): Subvert Satellite (Lvl 3 Ops) - Converts one enemy satellite near city to your control
(Can be used to delete a satellite and make way for a phasal transporter or planet carvr, if they just have too many satellites. Also can be done at Lvl 3, instead of the basically impossible Lvl 4 deorbit satellites)
Supremacy/Harmony/Purity Pictures: This is relying on my slow artist
Custom Quests: For that lore.

Now, currently, the Misaka civ has a few issues. Firstly, while free maintenance on the academy is great for ACADEMY city, it's also on Cognition, which is basically a Supremacy tech. This is bad gameplay-wise for someone going Purity or Harmony.
+10 Launch distance for orbital units sounds OP and...does almost nothing in gameplay terms.

There are several ideas I have to make things more flavorful, but it's hard to add a bunch of nice things without making Misaka completely OP. Plus, the idea behind the eventual quest lore was that since Misaka isn't actually a fan of Tree Diagram or cloning, she would either get over it eventually (go Supremacy or Harmony) or she wouldn't (Purity). So, here's the ambitious plan for future Misaka stuff, locked by affinity to prevent it affecting balance too much (and for the lore).

Supremacy Lvl 7: Academies cost 0 Maintenance. Unlocks the Railgun Launcher (on Ballistics) that gives +10 launch distance. Also unlocks the Desolator Satellite (Climate Control), which gives -1 food/-1 production in its limited area of effect, and also causes a severe diplomatic negative penalty with the player you launch it over.

Harmony Lvl 7: Cloning plants give an additional +2 food, +2 health. Unlocks the Misaka Only National Wonder Radio Noise (Swarm Intelligence), with the following description:
"Restarts the Sisters Project. +7 Science. Free Surveillance Web and +15 city defense in all cities."

Purity Lvl 7: +20% production for military units. Aegis, Battlesuit, and Mobile LEV units receive +1 movement.

I can't promise that all of these features will be easy (or even possible) to implement, but I will try. It's also very much up in the air (I'm not happy with every idea). I really a need a better idea for purity...

Of course, if you get Purity/Supremacy/Harmony all to 7, you'll be OP as heck, but hopefully that's too late game to matter.

Maybe revamp the Ability entirely to +2% Science for every point of health(?) (that new Happiness value). Just a suggestion, it would be nice but (maybe) not overpowered.

How about cloning plants don't give any food or health but give a small amount of science and unlocks a "Sister" unit which functions like a worker but quicker? Or maybe the sisters are military units? Or even creating a perfect Misaka clone, for military use, after a long time with a severe negative health penalty and large production cost but is totally OP? Also, I don't think one of the cities should be called "Misaka XXXX" As that's like calling a city "Steve". Anyway... I Love It! Keep up the good work! P.S. Accellerator wonder? +50% City Defence? XD

@yshouldicar3 I'm a bit wary of adding custom units after my experience trying to get the models in for the Civ 5 model. Also, the Misaka XXX city is named after the one who Misaka saw killed by acceleration, so it's in memory of that.

That being said, makign the wonder give +worker speed doesn't seem liek a bad idea...

@yshouldicar3 Or, hmm, culture or energy or science from kills, that'd be interesting...I'll have to see what's possible.

@cicero225 Ahh okay. I didn't realise the city was named after that one. That's cool! Keep at it! I'm supporting you 100%

Good news! The mechanics aspects of the new version for the mod now work fully on internal testing. Just need to add new text and building logos. Current version is:

(All Misaka only)

Purity Lvl 7: +20% for military units, Culture from Kills, +1 moves to all units (Except Planes and Artillery)

Harmony Lvl 7: +33% CS in all cities, Energy from Kills
Cloning Plants give an additional +2 Food, +2 Health
Enables the Radio Noise National Wonder (Swarm Intelligence) with the following description:
"Restarts the Sisters Project. Free Surveillance Web, +1 Population, +1 Health in all cities"

Supremacy Lvl 7: Academies cost 0 energy maintenance.
Enables the Railgun Launcher Building (Ballistics), which gives +10 Orbital launch range
Enables the Orbital Railgun (Communications), a slightly more expensive, more powerful Orbital Laser

Known Bugs:
With Harmony 7, Cloning Plants don't show the extra perks on the tech tree, and don't show the food on the city screen. The gamplay effort works, though.
With Supremacy Lvl 7, Academies give 2 energy instead of just saying 0 maintenance
None of these show up on the tooltips for the Affinities (you can only get them from reading the Misaka Civilopedia Entry)

Unfortunately, this mod triggers a known bug in Beyond Earth, where certain mods will cause the unit panel to break on starting the game. This is Firaxis's fault, and needs to wait for them to fix it. For now, the solution is to exit to main menu and retry the game until it works. Sorry =/

If you enable mods, save the game, exit to the main menu, enable mods again and load the save it seems to fix the bug. Annoying, but that's a problem that firaxis has to fix.

I know it's been a while, but if you're still out there, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to see a Rising Tide version of this mod. So Cicero, if you still like modding, and are still into Civ with VI coming out, I'm sure alot of people will be happy if you continue with this mod, it had excellent direction, and is still one of the best made mods out there.

Yeah, the guilt of not updating this eats at me. Real life plastered me, but the good news is I can finally pay a little bit of attention. I'm going to take one more go at fixing the Misaka unit model for the Civ 5 version of Railgun and then I will try to work on this or MPMPM a bit more.

I'm still alive though :) (barely....)
