It sounds like there was some error with the script as it ran, which is pretty rare. I haven't heard it affect more then one other person.

Try simply leaving the area, saving your game, and restarting skyrim. If that doesnt work, the only way to fix it would be to empty the basement, turn the mod off, save your game, turn it back on, refill the basement.

So. I have done all of that. I am pretty sure that it still is there.
