A: If you downloaded this addon from elsewhere (Armaholic etc), you should end up with three files:
- FHQ_Accessories.pbo
- FHQ_Accessories.pbo.FHQ.bisign
- FHQ.bikey
To install:
1. Go to your Arma 3 folder and create a folder "@FHQ_Accessories"
2. Go into that folder and create another folder inside called "AddOns"
3. Copy FHQ_Accessories.pbo and FHQ_Accessories.FHQ.bisign into that folder
4. Copy FHQ.bikey to your Arma 3\Keys folder.
To activate the addon, you have a number of options. The most common ones are:
- Launch the Arma 3 launcher and find FHQ_Accessories in the Mod list. Click on the checkbox to activate it.
- If you do not use the launcher, you may need to make an Arma 3 shortcut and in the target field add "-mod=@CBA_A3;@FHQ_Accessories"
- If you prefer, start Arma 3 normally and go to the Expansions menu, and activate the three addons there
- You can use a launcher like Arma3Sync or Play WithSix as well.
A: Using the optics in game requires the mission/game mode/server you play on to explicitly support them. That means that the server either has ammo crates, custom loadouts, or Virtual Arsenal and has the optics enabled.
If you want to try them out, you can do so either in the virtual arsenal (They should fit all standard weapons and all weapons that have rails and support the ASDG joint rails addon), or place an FHQ Accessories box in the editor and use it from there.
A: The "normal" optics toggle key will not work for the magnifier. You will have to bind an extra key for this, or use the default that CBA defines (which is CTRL-KEYPAD /). Go to Configure -> Controls -> Configure Addons -> CBA Accessories Functions, and redefine the key according to your wishes.
I run a small clan server that can accommodate 14 peoples.
I really like your mode, but I want to request a repack, because it didn't go into the server.
I want to refack your addon FHQ_Accessories
so that I can access it faster. I'd like to know how to get permission for this so be able to upload it to whorkshop for internal use...
