[2017] Compatibility Issues?
These are usually easy to fix. Please try to give me as much information as possible.

For example:
A link to the mod's page.
A description of the problem.

Additionally, please differentiate clearly between voxels/ores/ingots when talking about thinks like "iron"; try to include whether an ore item in question is in color or bluescale; and indicate the load order, top-to-bottom, of the mod in relation to this mod. (And speaking of which...)

GENERAL TIP:
I will offer more compatibility patches than other mods' authors will. That means this mod should go higher up on the list than probably most other mods.

Hi, great mod! would it be possible to run this and the "Shale Oil Resource & Diesel Power" Mod
(https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=509327181&searchtext=Shale+Oil+Resource) together and still have all your ores and their Shale Oil Ore?

Edit: To Clarify, I have tried loading a new world with your mod first, then another new world with their mod first, and it looks like only either one or the other will load.

Is there something else I should be trying?

In the world....? Not sure, not right now, the data files don't allow that and I don't know how to code in SE. They shouldn't conflict with asteroids, but I'm downloading the mod right now to test it myself.

So, it seems he replaces Sand-1 with the Petroleum resource. It should appear in deserts, is my best guess. As far as I know, there's no way to get the slate in asteroids to begin with...but I haven't had enough time to dissect his mod. I'm not sure the mods are conflicting if that's the case. Asteroid ores are added individually and ours shouldn't be overwriting each other. Planets ... no way to code so if you can't find the petroleum resource in a desert I'm not exactly sure what to do.

Is this mod compatible with the StarGate mod Ores? I looked within 20k of my base and couldn't find them. I did still have the ores and ingots I had already harvested before adding the mod. So either I just didn't look hard enough for this mod overwrote those ores? I do have your mod at the top of my list.

So, the way SE works is, it adds each new asteroid ore to a list of possible asteroid ores.

When it decides which ore to place on an asteroid it decides randomly from the list, no weights on the ore types is possible (so we can't make some types of ore more possible and others less).

This means, if both these mods are installed, you'll probably not find very much of Stargate's ores (hardly ever) in asteroids because it goes from like a 1 in 9 chance to a 1 in 40ish chance.

If this mod replaces planetary ores with Stargate ones, then whichever mod is higher up on the mod list will replace those lower down, that means if Stargate is on top, all the planetary ores should be stargate+vanilla, if it's mine, then it should be almost exclusively the modded ores from my mod.

Will the ore's show up on other moded plants or will this depend on the creation of that planet by the auther?

Each planet is defined by a single file. If there are new planets added by mods, this mod has no way of affecting them. If another mod overwrites any planets modded by this mod by being placed higher on the load list, this modifications of this mod will be overwritten.
