I did something like that. If the skin was either the stone1 (normal white skin type) or stone4? (I think) (I think the dottier, streaked kind, not sure, I only have my notes that kinda describe the colors, didn't really look again) as well as a couple of the otherwise underuseful stones got ice. So the two silver stones (high silver and low silver traces) got ice buffs (low and high respectively) as well.
Also because I added so many ore types, that makes the likelihood of ice appearing lower, so I duplicated ice so that it will become twice as likely (still about half as much as vanilla cause I roughly quadrupled the total ore count) to appear. So even though there's trace ice in the stone now, pure ice veins are about half as likely to appear, in the end, I hope that balances nicely.
