Friday Update 1
Hello Hammerwatch community,

It's time for a Friday update. This is the first one in ~8 weeks. We're going to be more regular with updates from here on out.

We've been working on adding content to the end game. Jon has been dilligently working on completing the snow levels. I've been working on creating new enemies and mechanics but I don't want to spoil anything.

We're not quite ready to add the snow levels to the beta, but they will be ready for testing soon. Because most of the new stuff isn't really ready to be tested, we're going to hold off on uploading a new build.

Aside from this, the scope of the campaign is very large, and we've been trying to trim it down to be more manageable. Some of our ideas are very difficult to implement because of the limitations of the engine. A good example of this would be the minecarts; they do not work well in online multiplayer. Our level sizes are pretty expansive, which makes exploration and play semi-tedious.

This week we're going to make a list of everything that is in the campaign, everything that we haven't put in yet, and everything that we've prototyped. Then we're going to take that list and decide what needs to stay and what needs to go.

We're going to finish this.
