Difficulty: Elite.
Level: Cheated 100.
Class: Vanilla Engineer.
Gear Level: 105 Outercore-Set, 105 Starplane-Destroyer Cannon, and 105 electric mace with 105 nethershield all equipped with 2 sockets mostly stuffed with max damage reduction, high missile deflection, and enchanted max dodge chance with no health regen (used synergy health potions).
Notable Skills: all maxed at 15... Fusilade was better than Blast Cannon, Onslaught slowed Omega, Shield Bash was OP-charge generator which empowered Forcefield, Immobile Copter and Heal Bot slowed and healed as needed, and Overload didn't dent Omega.
Strength: Extreme Defense.
Weakness: Low damage-output.
Summary: Took me over 45 minutes LOL since this back-up gear character was built for multi-utility to survive various mods and mainly to kill minor threats (read: not bosses) so I was stuck in a war of patience.
Survival: Mainly used my "Shield Bash" skill to generate up until max charge then used the charge on the OP defensive "Forcefield" skill for 30 seconds and restart the loop every time I hit 10 seconds left. Barely took any damage unless I decided not to use this in which case Omega easily 7-hit killed me many times with skills that hit in multiples.
Damage: I relied on my "Fusilade (multi-OP-missles)" skill and spammed it into the underbelly of Omega just sitting there letting the boss overshoot many of it's attacks while I relied on my survival tactics to stay alive when the boss used ground effects to damage me.
After-thoughts: I'm going to go with an "Otaku Fighter" next time I have the chance to test. ;)
