The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Protest sign:No paying for mods
Post 'i' if you want mods to be free (please also post a reason)(also please petition on first page!)
The fact that this workshop item rocketed up to the single most popular workshop item in a matter of hours should seriously indicate that paying for mods isn't going to be very popular.
I think it'd be better to just donate to modders on the Nexus, where Valve & Bethesda(The game devs)doesn't get 75% of the money you send them, and they don't need to make $100 in order to actually recieve any money.

i. Becuase modding shouldn't be about profit, it never has been. Could anyone here name a single popular modding site that makes you PAY for mods? The workshop shot itself in the foot, quite frankly. I feel like i wouldn't object so much if valve apparently didn't take 75% of the profit. Wow, good move, Valve!

Petition today! You're only one click away!

The majority of moders don't even use the workshop, they download managers and find mods on Nexus. In Valve's eyes this was something minor, in our eyes they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up pretty bad!

i, The modders get 75% of their profits taken. They'd be better off just posting to the Nexus and asking for donations. Besides, this is making mods basically DLC/Microtransactions. We all know how great DLC and Micros are.
