This is a good idea.
The "bar-fight" is kid of like the crikey meter on the cleaners carbine.
i think when broken you have less melee range and 10% less damage done, you also loose all your bar fight meter.
PROS:
Upon killing an enemy: Sends bits of wood flying everywhere, dealing mini crits to nearby enemys (30 damage per bit of wood)
