What is this game about ?
The game you will play is a Role Play Game. This means you have 1 unique character and control him all over the map to resolve the quests. When he dies, this means you die too, so be carreful when you make your moves and try not to die when you charge your oponents. The story helds in a world called Memories. First, you will have to pick a class by moving your shade to one of the 4 flags representing the different class (Fighters, Magus, Furtives and Builders).

First of all, I would like to thank all the playtesters that helped me day by day, improving the game with their advices, support, interest on the map and, of course, loads of humor while playing and seeing some crazy and fun things happening during all these games that wasn't even expected in the first scenario creation.

STORYLINE

Memories is a world of blood and chaos. The people that live in this area are called the Memorians, and are different from each other depending on where they live. From the citizens of Ceptlos Empire to the religious people of Talmora, by walking throughout the fanatic tribes of Galhoss, there are many lands to explore and it can take a few hours before discovering everything.

King Ceptlos, great superior of the Imperial Army, has charged you to inspect the lands around Intertown, a peacefull village having some problems recently with bandits. But, soon after your arival, you notice that nothing stops you from doing whatever you want and explore the lands as a free warrior. You are now free to go, follow the instructions or go around and help the people by following the different quests.

What will you do ? Will you investigate on the straneg bandits attacking Intertown and following the Monk instruction, or leaving all this here and going by yourself on these totally new lands ? It's all your choice and you can go wherever you want. At a certain price, at least.

GAMEPLAY

Children of Memories is a totally new RPG based on a free roaming system. You can indeed go wherever you want, whenever you can, since you are strong enough or has enough gold to unlock some parts of the game. Your character is a hero, but that doesn't mean he is powerfull and can kill tons of enemies on his way. Most people playing this game will die thinking they can move as they wish. Remember this is an old-fashion RPG, which mean there is traps, enemies, monsters and boss and treasures at every corner of the map.

Bear in mind that you can easily die if you don't pay attention to the landscape, quest givers or even if you walk into someone's trap. Even the landscape can kill you (especially at the last part, no spoiler :P)

The best way to reach this game is to form a good team support around 1 or 2 warriors. Thus, you will need to take a healer, some builders, wizzard and support units like furtives. There isn't a good way of making a team but if you pick several units with lot of flaws or miss one specific unit, it will get harder at some parts (if you forget to take a healer as example, get ready to run more than usual and loose a lot of gold in restoration shop).

In this game, gold will be your first interest. It unlocks some parts, allows you to purchase several upgrades or healing spells, and more. You got gold from kills and quests, but the Rogue and the Thief are the 2 only heroes that can have gold with a special spell. A word of advice would be to have at least one of them in your team so you can share with the group.

SKILLS AND LEVELING

(!)The Athena unit on the bottom of the map shows you some stats for your gameplay. The HP shows your the remaning kills until your next level, and the Attack shows your actual level. Pay attention to your hero when you want to have a look at it and don't watch it while fighting. That's trivial but... it happened to me a few time.

In Children of Memories, each heroes has his pros and cons. You can have a look at the Heroes Guideline to know which unit suits you best as they all have different gameplays and way of leveling. Taking Hitpoints while you are a Knight (even if its a fighter), won't be the same as if you were the Pilgrim, and the Pilgrim will get less Attack than the Spellsword. And etc, you got it.

Now you understand a few more about this game, you are free to go.

Good luck and have fun ;)
