how about being able to send recruiters from your castles to mass recruit?

isnt that on diplomacy mod? i mean the max of recruits is 50 but would be "cheating" if its more i think, what could be good is a way to find lost companions withouth the need of a damn tavern traveller

yes, but if that is combined with the custom unit tree, then I think that would be really neat
you realize you only get the base recruit, and thats for Nation Specific recruits, You can't exactly recruit a bandit anyways... they'd be more likely to knife you in the gut and run off with your bag of gold than to become one of your soldiers...

I would suggest making a few lower-level characters to recruit who will get along with a lot of people, so that there's a sense that the party is friendly towards one-another and you're able to build them up however you need them.

There are already about 7 companions who start at level 1 and don't have any people they hate, they're all based on the questions you get asked at the start of the game, so they're like the most common player alternatives.
