Known Issues
Please check these known issues before posing bugs. If you think you know how to fix any of these issues, please add me on Steam and message me.


- You cannot get the victory message while neutral towards another player. In order to see the victory message, you will have to eventually eliminate all enemy and neutral factions.

- Something from Update 1.1 is cuasing the Third Age: Divide and Conquer scenario to crash for the host only several minutes into most online games. To other players in the game, it will appear as if the host has simply left the game. This bug does not affect single-player, offline play.

- Using Isengard’s traitor power will cause a new unit of the same type to be created meaning that all triggers (names, protounit traits, etc.) associated with the original unit will no longer affect that unit. This has the drawback of not allowing you to convert Theoden King, for example, but the benefit of not allowing you to convert the Balrog to your side.

- “Change name in area” loop triggers can cause severe lag (see the Unit Names discussion page for more information). These name triggers are optional and are only allowed in the two single-player scnearios. Both scenarios begin with the name loop triggers disabled by default and they must be activated by entering "names on" in the chat dialogue box. They can be deactivated by entering "names off" but cannot be reactivated.

- Eye of Sauron and Smaug attack and range traits not working. The inability to modify attack and range traits for beam and splash fire projectiles is hard coded.

- In standard Third Age: Grand Campaign, the two Dwarf factions have human villagers (Servant) and Ulfsarks (Scout) enabled. This is because the Norse AI will not train dwarf gatherers or build buildings with any unit but Huskarl or Ulfsark and since Huskarls aren’t trainable in Archaic or usable by the AI as scouts, I have unlocked Ulfsark and human gatherers for the Dwarves of the West and Dwarves of Erebor AI to use so that they stand a fighting chance. Human villagers will still be converted into dwarf gatherers. If you want to play as the Dwarves, I recommend that you use the Third Age: Khazad Aimenu scenario.

- When managed as a group, units sometimes become stuck underwater, on cliffs, or inside settlements and may become indestructible once there. This issue is not unique to Third Age: Middle Earth but can happen in any Age of Mythology game. To fix this, simply delete units which become stuck and report where they became stuck so that I can add further preventative measures to that particular part of the map. I have noticed that this tends to happen near river crossings or between narrow mountain passes.

- If you manually turn on player scores in the Grand Campaign you will see a strange "(+-60%)" next to the High Elves' name. This is because of the particular AI file that is being used for that faction. For some reason, the default AI was not working and I had to use an alternative.

- Medium Cavalry technology unobtainable status not working for Silvan Elves
