Guide to Orcs of Gundabad
Synopsis

Situated at the northern end of the Misty Mountains chain, this faction has to decide between expanding east or west. To the east lies the vast forest of Mirkwood which has much needed wood. To the west is Eriador and the dwarf mines of the Blue Mountains. The Orcs of Gundabad have many nearby enemies but the ability to crush them all with powerful giants and swarms of cheap infantry.

Gundabad's orcs are only slightly better than those of Mordor but the faction still relies on swarming their enemies into submission. The elite units of Eriador, the Dwarves, or the Elves will slice your orcs to pieces but those factions cannot replace losses nearly as easily as Gundabad.

Gundabad is also blessed with powerful and numerous myth units. Snow Trolls and Mountain Giants (Cyclops) are good supplements to orc hordes. Wargs can be used to raid and pick off enemy villagers with ease. Gundabad can also unlock cheap Goblin Archers by capturing the Mount Gram settlement.
