crash on startup
so i just upgraded to win10 the otherday and figured i would get back into some hw. well i saw this mod and got alll giddy like i was 15 again. so when i start up the launcher everything works fine, i select mods, then the mod i want. it starts loading, and loading and loading, then finaly it just snaps back to my desktop and does nothing. plz someone help guide me to correcting this

udate, it crashes on any classic mod.........

it has soming to do with the atioglxx file. i get an error report in the h2c document everytime i try to load the game. still havent heard or seen a good fix for it yet . its quite irritating.

is it the download link? i tryed that as well and im still stuck. i just updated all my drivers and stil no avail. if you could man post a link or steps on what to do. i would really apprceate it man

Hey guys,

I know a bunch of you are having issues with HW2 classic crashing after launch (the screen goes black then quits to desktop). A while ago my friend and i tried playing Hw2 and he had the same issue.

This file we found from this website fixed the problem then and it fixed the exact same problem he was having with Hw2 classic

Try it it out

http://www.thegameengine.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/atioglxx_fix.zip

Depending on your windows version put either the 32 or 64 bit file into your

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Homeworld\Homeworld2Classic\Bin\Release

i hope this can eradicate the problem some of you are having

yeah i did this to. still wont work. i just sent a request to gearbox for some help. guess im stuck for now
