Cant use as a BP
Loaded up your saved world, made a bluprint, went into my server, loaded up the new BP and it wont load the grids that are on the smal blocks, like the buy button, LCD screens, and record stuff. Any ideas?

do you have the required mods loaded on your server world?

Yes. When i load the BP into the projector, i get a message on screen about cant load multiple grids. Seems that the sections that are connected via the large rotor to small rotor part wont project. I think i would have to change the server over to creative then spawn the Factory that way.

ooooo ya, this must be pasted into the world using the f10 menu, anything on the end of rotors or pistons are not supported by projectors so that makes sense.

Spawned the factory in creative, the control panel with the 8 buttons, dont do anything now. And the LCD's on the right say null. Left one shows the correct component amounts. Wish for a list of timer blocks that do what LOL. Cant get the factory to do anything, not even spin the carosel in the 8 button panel.

If the panels are saying null then something went wrong with the blueprint copy. Basically the prerecorded ship costs did not get copied into the blueprint, which they should have. This would not stop the wheel from working though so no clue on that front. Try making a new world from the workshop file and making a new blueprint of the factory. let me know how it goes.

Factory worked fine in a custom creative world, which i went back into survival mode, in the new world it worked in creative and survival. on my dedi its now a cool looking glass box :) Ill try recompiling the scripts, saving them from a fresh world. I know there are alot of timer blocks, but which ones control the scripts?

do not recompile the scripts. Doing so will erase the stored ship costs and cause the screens to show Null. Also reassigning ownership will cause similar problems. I am not sure what is going on with your dedicated server. :( all the timer blocks that activate after the buy button is pressed have " Buy TB" in their name. If you want to see how it all works then just follow the TB activation trail from the button you are curious about. One TB activates the next which activates the next until the process is complete. the script that controls the LCD’s is activated by a sensor underneath the buy platform so it refreshes every time you approach. The activation of the scripts also require spesific arguments to be passed as well, look in the script for details. Best of luck to you.
