I don't think this is a Bug, more as it doesn't make sense, why does the female pass on the Line Trait if it is a regular marriage, I really do enjoy this mod, Great Job BTW.

That is intentional.. its bloodline based, even the daughters have the same blood as their brothers. Thats why you have to be extra careful marry off your daughters.. because you mix your bloodline with other dynasties. Your daughters and grand daughters are much more valuable then.

I found only a small thing: in the opinion modifier, and prestige tab, the trait's bonuses are written as "Founder/Member of |GetFirstName| Bloodline". How about making it "F/M of a Prestigious Bloodline" instead of having the game not getting the founder's name?

Thanks for the amazing mod and keep up the good work!

Don't know if this is a bug, but it's strange. I loaded this mod on a character that already had 4k prestige. Now, she got the patriarch trait, but not her children.

And yes, the children are from a matrilinear marriage.

@kenup

Right now I am working on updating the version to allow for female patriarchs. it doesn't work for them at the moment.

Oh ok. Throught that issue was just a localization thing. Thanks a lot.

Denounced bastards will still inherit the trait, but it's description says something like this: "This character is from the 'Line of' .. a very prestigious noculture bloodline."

I assume it pulls the information for the trait description from the listed father of the person, but without a listed father it has nothing to pull from. This could be fixed by removing the trait on denounced bastards (which seems contrary to your ideas), or by keeping the description static, not having to pull from the listed father every time. That may take a pretty big rewrite though.

Even though you probably knew this Female Patriarchs should be matriarchs when you fix it.

Grandchildren culture for the blood is picking from their matril grandparents culture instead of using the guy who I formed the line as. My children all show the appropriate culture, but all my grandchildren show it wrong. Instead of being a Norse bloodline on my grandchildren it shows as Polish / Russian / Frisian. These are for my sons children which aren't matr married.

Whenever a lover gives birth to a b.a.s.t.a.r.d I get two windows asking me what I want to do with him/her. This ends up giving me double the relationship effects since i have to legitimize, acknowledge or denounce him twice.

Tribal chief. Catholic. Seduction focus.
I'm getting this bug with only your mod enabled. I have all the DLC enabled besides Horse Lords and it's two companion DLCs.

Incest brings about a child with the trait twice.
