Well, as for me, i usually have crashes after pauses. But it's really rare, so i got used to it. Memory is good also, 2-3 GB.

I use pause very often, because I need to see which item drop where, and so forth -because I'm still very new to this game. But it's always at around wave 11 to 13. :( I will never finish this game mode, which is quite sad.

Check if you go to specific bosses during wave 11-13, or do specific actions. They say, Dota have some troubles with big models, like bad rendering algorythm of multyoligonal models. So mb you run out of video memory, or idk. Like you cant fight with Buddha, cause he goes avatar, and it crashes you. Or you cant look at Virudhaka and his brothers more then 10 times, while farming them. Look for chains.
