My friend and I are currently optimizing an impossible run to try to get on the leaderboards; it would be really annoying if the leaderboards didn't mean anything.
As for figuring out the map, you can still do that. I know exactly what items I need to kill any of the bosses, I know the best timings for when I need to be doing certain things, and I know when a run is already dead and warrants a reset.
Yes, it takes a lot of time to do a run. The current record for impossible is a bit over 2 hours. You'll quickly discover that an optimal run requires you to manage so many things at once that you won't even notice the time passing. In fact, time will pass too quickly, and you'll be wishing you had more time to get things done before the damn rubik wave hits.
And about time thingy. Its not about noticing time. Its about saving my actual time ) But still thaks!
Leaderboards is also true, I just wanted to point out his obvious hypocrisy.

Also, after a certain point, luck is far more valuable than skill in this game.
