AMMO TYPE SUGGESTIONS
If you have any suggestions for a new ammo type you might like to see, tell me here!
Be descriptive, don't just say "it should do extra damage and have fancy effects"

They actually do, I forgot to detail that. The damage-over-time debuff deals a hefty amount of damage to armor. Once armor is depleted, the damage done to health is increased.

For slug rounds, the way I'm handling ammo types is already sketchy, and unless there is a generally standardized variable stored on the weapon saying "I'm a shotgun", I can't restrict ammo types to shotguns. Thanks for the idea, though!

How about hallucinogen bullets? when shot at a player it does very little damage but causes them to trip out making it harder for them to fight

Cryogenic Azote bulltes: they freeze the target
H1tSc4n 20 Sep, 2015 @ 1:01pm
Fin-stabilized bullets: pinpoint accuracy and less recoil, but a bit less damage
H1tSc4n 20 Sep, 2015 @ 1:04pm
Guided Gyro-Jets: they help you in aiming as they slightly redirect on the target, however they aren't hitscans and do less damage because of the slower speed
Spartan117II 20 Sep, 2015 @ 1:12pm
how about a non leathal rubber bullet that can cripple the targets arms and do no damage
H1tSc4n 20 Sep, 2015 @ 1:19pm
Or tazer bullets like the ones in interstellar marines!

Military surplus ammo: more accurate, more damage, more recoil
Matsilagi 21 Sep, 2015 @ 1:55pm
Slag: Enemies get extra damage with them on (just like in Borderlands)

Just a thought:

Large rounds: They are harder to fit into a gun (slower reload/less ammo in a clip/slower firing) but serve mostly to knock enemies back, useful for bigger or faster enemies charging towards ya since you can slow them down while running.
