Door Name Ideas
I hope I am not steping on toes but I think but I thought maybe a discussion on door name ideas would be nice I have written down all that I currently see in the game as;

Advance Door (Guessing this is the Area 1 Door)
Bridge
Captains Quarters
Crew Quarters
Engineering
Hallway
Hanger
Hanger Bay
Infirmary
Messhall
No Entry
Private
Storage
Utility

Could we know the other ideas on names so we don't sugest names that you are planing?

Airlock - (Unless DeadWeight already planned a separate airlock door design and livery...!!)
Armory - (*I swear somebody already suggested it but the comment has been lost in the already-mounting sea of comments...)
Server - This would be best in front of a room full of Programming Blocks and Timers.
Security - For dedicated security rooms that oversee a ship's/station's internal cameras and turrets.

Refinery/Foundry (Assemblers and Refineries aren't always in the same place as the engines/reactors)

Kitchen

Bunkroom (Figure general crew habitat section, subdivided into rooms like the mess hall, etc)

Bathroom/Head

Cargo Bay

Gunnery Control/Gun Control/

Gunnery/Weapons

Shuttle Bay (they're not always a vast hangar, sometimes it's a little one-ship room)

I called it "Logistix" because its what I called my Logistic division. I will probably write Logistics cause no one will get the reference.

Ideas Posted:
Airlock - Door Should not Have a Window due to Possable Weakness
Server Room
Gunnery Control (Another Idea for Weapon Control due to most people operating weapons on a ship are called Gunner's Mates)
Restroom - No window due to its a personal area 2 versions can put a male/feamale image on where the window is.
Shower Room - No Window due to its where you clean yourself could do the same like Restroom.
Escape Pods - Strips on door is yellow and black or red and black.
Medical Center/First Aid Station - Smaller room for minor probloms (Have a health station in it)
Flight Control - If you have a Hanger you want a Flight Control Room.
Officer Quarters - In most ships Officers are quartered with one to two other officers where non officer crew are quartered in larger numbers. No Window.
Medical Officer Quarters - Should know where the Medical Officer lives in case of internal communications shutdown.
Recreational Room
Kitchen - Sometimes you can enter the kitchen without entering the messhall.
War Room
Meeting Room
Decontamination Chamber - Cool to get this in the new door side sliding door with your mod texture look.
BioHazard Room - Room with no window with Biohazard sign where the window is and the stripe is Black and Yellow.
Lockdown Door - A door with no control panals so when you have an intruder alert you can lockdown hallways. Ya a bigger door can be had but some areas on a ship might not be 3 blocks wide by 2 blocks high or more.
Section Areas - Sometimes people group rooms together like labs would be together should it be health labs, Sicence Labs it would in the same general area. Could put names like Sicence Department, Tactical Department etc.

Maybe asking one of the other moders to use there mod as a bace for making 3 x 1 doors in your texture and making some names on them like for hanger bay/hanger you may want to use a bigger door. Engineering due to they mayhave to bring something in for repair or take parts out with them for to repair something.

CIC is Combat Information Center, not Command Information Center, or if we're to go with the British equivalent, Action Information Centre. You could always just do "CIC" :) Also, instead of Hallway, do you suppose there's any chance we could change that to Passageway, or at least get that added for the sake of staying in line with naval terminology?

While we're at it, having things only show up on one side of the door seems to give no advantage, while making the doors useless in many situations. I don't *always* have the doors inside rooms facing outwards.

Combat Information Centre. Cool... I'll Add Passageway to the list.

I had a lot of people want the doors one sided. if there are a lot of people that want it double sided I will put some time aside to change it back.

The best option would seem to be one-sided doors with a reverse offset version, but if that was time consuming I'd hate to ask :/

Wouldnt be to painful. After Dx9 support perhaps!
I"m actually Looking for some doors with the names Bay 1, Bay 2, etc up to Bay 10. The Phrasing Docking Bay 01, etc would be great but not required.

Looks like these haven't been listed here yet. how about "Firing Range", "Gun Range", or "Weapons Training"? I've been building such rooms in my assault ships and haven't seen any doors that can fit the room for the name yet. Also "Generator Room" or simply "Generators" could be good for other places that don't fit under engineering necessarily. Maybe those do fall under Utility but I'd like to see one that can be used for shield generator rooms. one such example: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=599220404 from my WIP assault cruiser.
