and expand the map?
If someone makes a good case for adding additional creatures or resources I'll consider it (though many SE creatures and resources are present.) I have no intention on adding anything from Aberration at this time.
and you need to be even further to make veggie cakes. (build platform + wait for tap to fill, get beehoney, tame snail... depending on your loc on the map that's going to take even longer)
so beaverdams and beavers are useful for a lot of things.
(and i'm still a big fan of the beaver for wood opposed to the sluggish dinos, the turning radius of the beaver and the speed in the water make it one of the better "dinos")
plus it's a great small size companion on a nest (raft) both for gathering as luring other dinos into traps
