[Mexpex] MK1 - Battleship Coil Cannon

ZOOMING!!!!!???
@Mexpex, can we get zooming capabilities? its a pain to have to have the cannon stationary, and rotate the whole ship with a camera above it just to get a long range shot.... can we get some form of zooming when controlling the cannon?

Erm, it's impossible at the moment to add zooming to turrets as it hasn't been done by Keen yet. Sure, someone might be able to do it with the sourcecode but the amount of time it takes to do that....

aye... ok..... would it be possible to get a static model then? one that uses less energy and less materials?

I don't know if this would actually work, but...
I'd use xmuni's Gun Fire Control System mod, and build Darth Biomech's Telescope mod into the director turret.

tried it with the telescope, but not the directive turret... ill try it out!

think you could make this work? I have to admit that making any sort of script work in space engineers is beyond me.
