The bridge render is based on the 1 side the bridge was placed at. If yoou are approaching the bridge from the 'far side / the swing side when it was placed' and if your view distance (options) is on Medium, or less (from my experience) it will not be visible until you nearly are ontop of it.

Also if the bridge physically disappears from the game, it may not have seen any traffic for quite sometime and straight up vanished from the game (if PVE)

My question, does the bridge appear to be ultra long, or connected to an ajoining bridge, that you may not be close enough to the 'placement side', thus not rendering in, by the time you get to it?

Ultra long.

From the island off the coast of the swamp biome on the south side of Center Map.

No issue with seeing the bridge really (rendering does seem to be an issue when approaching from afar)

The vanishing bridge actually happens when I'm already on the bridge, walking across
