Hello everyone, here is an official thread I am starting so you can keep track of updates. This way, even if I don't actually upload an updated version of the mod, I can still keep you all up-to-date on what is going on and what ideas I have. The discussion will be locked so that updates are easy to find and read, but as always you can post your ideas and suggestions in the appropriate thread. Thank you!

10.10.16: Rights of Man is coming out tomorrow night for me (KST), though I probably won't be able to play it until Wednesday, the 12th. I will likely begin work on 0.1.8 this weekend, which will consist of adjusting the mod to make it work with 1.18. This will hopefully include all new institutions! Here are my current ideas, which may change:

Administration
Starts in 2550
-10% State Maintenance
Starting province gives +5% National Tax
Max penalty is 75%
Most countries have this at the start, but a few of them will not.

Military Tradition
Starts in 2670
+0.5 Army Tradition
Starting province gives +1 Leader without Upkeep
Max penalty is 50%
This will start in a high-development capital in Japan or Korea and spread quicker through countries with large forcelimits, armies at max forcelimit, and high Army Tradition.

Cultural Revolution
Starts in 2720
-1% Prestige Decay
Starting province gives +0.5 Yearly Prestige
Max penalty is 25%
This will start in a high-development province in the Balkans (likely Athens) and spead quicker through stable countries.

Financial Reformation
Starts in 2770
-0.5 Interest
Starting province gives 0.1 Yearly Inflation Reduction
Max penalty is 50%
This will start in a high-development province in Germany and spread quicker through countries that have no loans or corruption.

Infrastructure Recovery
Starts in 2820
-5% Build Cost
Starting province gives -5% Development Cost
Max Penalty is 50%
This will start in a high-development fort in China and spread quicker based on how many buildings are in a province.

Firearm Re-discovery
Starts in 2870
+10% Fire Damage
Starting province gets +1 Land/Naval Leader Fire
Max Penalty is 100%
This will start in a high-development province in North America (though it will be Iran until I add the American countries) and spread quicker through countries with armies at maximum forcelimit.

Warship Construction
Starts in 2920
+10% Heavy Ship Combat Ability
Starting Province gets -10% Shipbuilding Time
Max Penalty is 50%
This will start in Great Britain (or possibly northern France) and spread like wildfire across ports.

10.20.16: RoM has been out for more than a week now, and I'm finally beginning to get the mod in a playable spot again. There are still a lot of localizations that need changing and a GUI bug that still needs fixing, but I think 0.1.8 should be out fairly soon. Possibly with some new tags? Not quite sure. I'm also going to try and incorporate as many new mechanics as I possibly can from RoM and 1.18:

-Salt Totemism might get blessings for Holy Sights (and maybe voyages finally)
-Ideally institutions will allow different parts of the world to prosper more at different stages of the game
-Korea is begging for a trade league at this point
-Jindo is already a Trade City
-Certain idea sets and religions will take advantage of Shock Damage, Fire Damage, etc. modifiers
-Lombard Vassals will maintain their dynasty at all times
-And possibly more

Things that currently limit progress:
-Sheer amount of things to do
-I just moved into my own apartment
-I am just one person
-Many things get put off because of tedium
-Lack of ideas

10.27.16: Finally, 0.1.8 is out! I am aware of most of the issues that currently still stand with it, such as localization of Institution Birthplace modifiers. 0.2 will focus on fixing those issues and, ideally, the new HRE-like system in SE Asia.

After this DD, I'm going to make an appropriate thread to post your ideas for tags, religions, and national ideas, so please post anything you have there. Again if you'd like to become an official contributor, please contact me about that.

4.19.17: I've been working on the ages system for the next update. Should be out by the end of this week if all goes well. I want to set up an "Empire of China" situation somewhere but I'm not exactly sure how the mechanics. Christlam will likely turn into some sort of syncretic religion with harmonization. It will start with Islam already harmonized. However, that will likely be in a future update.
