No shell ejection?
I know TF2 is supposed to be cartoony, but damn my ♥♥♥♥♥, how you gonna explain where the casings go?

They could take something used in the Shadowrun RPG "Case-less Ammunition" the round is mounted on a solid propellant with a waterproof coating that vaporizes along with it when fired.

I was thinking caseless, but those are clearly standard brass 9MM rounds. Caseless rounds typically have box or cigar-shaped cartridges

For all we know their maybe some mechanism for that at the side opposite resembling the minigun

The renders in the description tab show what looks like an oval ejection port on the opposite side of the cylinder from the infeed.
